A: It’s simple: Create a profile, list your skills, and set your status to “Ready to Work.” Employers search our live map, see your profile, and call you directly to offer you a job.

Q: Do I have to apply for jobs?

A: No. Unlike other job sites where you send endless CVs into a black hole, Sitedrop brings the work to you. You post your availability, and the agencies/employers come to you.

Q: Is it really free for labourers?

A: Yes, 100% free. We never charge labourers to join, and we never take a cut of your wages.

Category 2: Money & Pay

Q: Who pays me?

A: The company that hires you pays you. Sitedrop is not your employer; we just introduce you. You agree on your hourly rate and payment terms (CIS, PAYE, etc.) directly with them.

Q: Does Sitedrop take a percentage of my hourly rate?

A: Absolutely not. If you agree on £15/hour with the agency, you get £15/hour. We do not touch your money.

Category 3: Privacy & Safety

Q: Can anyone see my phone number?

A: No. Your phone number is hidden from the general public. Only verified employers who have paid for access can view your contact details.

Q: My address is on the map—is that safe?

A: We only show your approximate location (e.g., your general area or town), not your exact front door. This helps employers find local workers without compromising your home security.

Q: How do I stop getting calls when I’m busy?

A: Log in to your dashboard and toggle your status to “Busy” or “On a Job.” This hides you from the “Available Now” search so your phone stops ringing.

Category 4: Profile & CSCS

Q: Do I need a CSCS card to join?

A: Yes, All Labourers are required to hold a CSCS Card before joining the platform.

Q: I have multiple trades (e.g., Labourer & Traffic Marshall). Can I list both?

A: Yes! You can select multiple categories on your profile. The more skills you list, the more often you will appear in search results.

Q: I made a mistake on my profile. How do I fix it?

A: Just log in, go to your Dashboard, and click “Edit Profile.” You can update your location, phone number, or skills instantly.

Q: I forgot my password.

A: Click the “Lost your password?” link on the login page, enter your email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset it.
