Category 1: How Sitedrop Works
Q: Is Sitedrop a recruitment agency?
A: No. We are a live data provider. we simply give you access to the direct contact details of available workers. You contact them, you hire them, you pay them—we just make the introduction.
Q: How “live” is the database?
A: Extremely live. Our unique system encourages labourers to update their status to “Ready to Work” only when they are actually available. This saves you time calling down a list of people who are already on a job.
Q: Can I view phone numbers?
A: Yes. Once you purchase an Employer Access Pass, you have access to phone numbers and direct contact methods.
Category 2: Pricing & Fees
Q: Do you charge a commission or “finder’s fee”?
A: Never. You pay a simple access fee to use our platform. Whether you hire 1 person or 100 people, the price remains the same. There are no hidden costs and no hourly markups.
Q: Is there a contract?
A: No. You can buy access as and when you need it. If you don’t have active roles to fill, you don’t need to pay.
Category 3: Hiring & Compliance
Q: Who pays the labourers?
A: You do. Sitedrop does not handle payroll. You agree on the rate and payment method (e.g., CIS, PAYE) directly with the worker, just as you would with your own candidates.
Q: Are the workers vetted?
A: Workers create their own profiles and list their specific CSCS card types, trades, and experience. We recommend you verify their physical CSCS card and references before allowing them on site, as per your standard company compliance procedures.
Q: What trades can I find?
A: Our database is aimed solely at Labourers.
Q: Can I search by location?
A: Yes. Our map feature allows you to zoom in on your specific site postcode to find local talent, reducing travel costs and reliability issues.
Category 4: Troubleshooting
Q: I’ve paid, but I still can’t see the numbers.
A: Access is usually instant. If you are still seeing locked icons, try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If the issue persists, contact our support team immediately.
Q: What if I call a worker and they aren’t available?
A: While we strive for 100% accuracy, the industry moves fast. If a worker is unavailable, please report their profile using the “Report” button so we can update our database for other employers.
